CMTA Drug Testing

Drug Testing in Counties Manukau Touch

Counties Manukau Touch administers a drug-testing program for teams participating in National events or any other event that the organisation chooses to enter.
Counties Manukau Touch accepts the World Anti-Doping Code. These Anti-Doping Rules are adopted and implemented by Counties Manukau Touch as part of the criteria to participate in all areas of the sport of Touch and seek to further efforts to eradicate doping within the Counties Manukau Region.

Anti-Doping Rules, like Competition rules, are sport rules governing the conditions under which sport is played. Touch players accept these rules as a condition of participation. Anti-Doping Rules are not intended to be subject to or limited by the requirements and legal standards applicable to criminal proceedings or employment matters.

The policies and minimum standards set out in the Code and implemented in these Anti-Doping Rules represent the consensus of a broad spectrum of stakeholders with an interest in fair sport and should be respected by all courts and adjudicating bodies. Touch NZ also administer a drug testing process at the National and Regional events.;
