The Counties Manukau Touch Association was formed in 1992 to facilitate the growing numbers of Touch players participating in the Counties Manukau Region and to coordinate a representative program to enable a region representation at the annual Touch NZ National Tournament.
Counties Manukau Touch over the past 16 Years has developed into one of the top provinces in New Zealand and has a current player membership of 8000 members including Juniors where the main growth of the sport is developing. There are currently 21 Touch clubs in the region that offer various levels of competition from entry level to the elite level. The Counties Manukau Touch Open Mixed team are the current National Touch Series (NTS) champions a title they have won since the Tournaments inception in 2004.
